I just flew on a Delta CRJ700 from SLC on Saturday. The smaller planes like that are interesting, I did enjoy having the row to myself though for sure. Today I’m on an American A321 to Dallas, should be fun!

I had the row to myself in the flight from SAV to ATL, and then no one sat in the middle seat on the flight from ATL to BOS, it was great.

I hate DFW, I had less than 10 minute to get across that airport once, it was awful.

I compare all airports to my original home airport of Newark, so it’s always a better airport lol. My new home airport of LAX is not much better, mostly just because of the chaos of picking up or dropping off people. Dfw isn’t too bad, I like the food there at least.

ATL is actually a really good airport, and I judge others by that standard. LAX isn’t terrible, I’ve flown out of there; visited Golf R guy in April of 2016. I haven’t been to Newark in ages; my mom is from New York and we used to visit a lot when we were kids.

You should definitely come back again, I went on a cruise recently with Golf R guy as well! I almost always prefer Burbank when flying from here, it’s infinitely better than LAX. If I were closer, I’d also definitely use SNA, LGB, and ONT. The real problem with LAX is just that driving there sucks massively at most hours of the day. Even at 430am when I drove there today, I couldn’t use cruise control much but at least it wasn’t an abhorrent mess.

I’m of the opinion that EWR is clearly the best of the NYC airports. Maybe after they do the planned massive renovations at LGA, it will be better, though I wish they were saving the old hangars, and it still will have crappy transit links.

Haha well I don’t even consider LGA to be a real airport. I’d rather drive all the way to fucking DC than deal with that crap! Where I lived in Jersey, I was equidistant between Newark and Philadelphia so I always chose PHL when I could. TTN and ACY are nice local options but only Spirit and Frontier fly there so I never bothered. I actually don’t really hate Newark but I’ve learned that just about every airport is better in some way. If JFK wasn’t so far away, I would actually like it more. But considering the traffic between the two could result in two hours of driving time, it’s a bit of a nightmare to attempt that.

I’ve always found JFK to be a bit of dump. Even relatively new terminals that should be nice seem to be dingy and falling apart. The JetBlue terminal is nice enough, though their baggage handling operation seems painfully slow.
